To merge nodes using the node tolerance (by selection set)
Create the selection set before selecting the tool.
Select (
Merge Nodes
) and choose a Location Method of Tolerance.
In the Merge Nodes tool settings window, enter the node tolerance to use.
Click in the view to merge the nodes that fall within that node tolerance.
The nodes that fit within the tolerance are merged. The node retains the label of the node that was placed first.
